I am still enjoying a collection of Elizabeth Gaskell's short stories which is named for her longest and final one: Cousin Phillis. So far the story Manchester Marriage is my favourite, but we'll see if I change my mind after finishing the last one.UPDATE****

so, I didn't even realize Gaskell had a collection of short stories. Or if I did, I totally forgot. I always think about her works that are made into BBC dramas, you know, the biggies. Thanks for reminding she's got other stuff out there too!
