Poll: Richard Armitage or Alan Rickman?
BBC America / Anglophrenia blog is hosting a poll... and Richard Armitage is has been up for some stiff competition. In Round 1 he beat out Matthew Macfadyen! In Round 2 he won against Henry Cavill. Now he's up against Alan Rickman! What's next? David Tennant or (horrors!) Colin Firth? He's just got to win! Let's get out the Armitage Army... Ladies sally forth and VOTE!

I like Alan Rickman, great actor, but really?? No contest, it's Richard Armitage All the Way! Vote for RA in Round 3!!!!!!

I agree, but Alan Rickman has all the HP fans voting for him I think. I just watched a movie with him in it and I do enjoy his performances very much but he's no RA! ;)
Phylly, just a little correction: in fact RA beat out Matthew McFadyen in round 1, and Henry Cavill in round 2.
I'm 100% Richard too!!

@Fabi -- Thanks for the correction! I forgot about that vote. That really was tough competition. Not fair that he has to be up against so many great actors. Matthew McFayden should have been matched against a more lightweight actor, like Rupert Grint?

Just now Richard is winning.(yes!)But I'm afraid the final will be Armitage vs. Firth - I still vote for RA, but with my heart a bit broken...

I am a bit sorry I made this post now. If it weren't for your comments Musa and Fabi, I would pull it. Right now they are complaining at this poll about people cheating with 'vote bots'. I can't imagine how that stuff works!
Too bad people have to take things so seriously. it really isn't fun anymore when you see the nasty comments about cheating.
You can't even see who is winning anymore. The site administrator is investigating the IP addresses to see where the huge increase in vote counts is coming from.
So I guess I really don't care who wins. I wouldn't want RA to win by someone being a better cheater than someone else!
Yes, apparently this BBC America poll has heated up small (fringe) extreme elements. Insults exchanged and all. Sigh. For heaven sake, there is a 25 age difference between RA & AR! I adore RA, but also AR. Not voting on Anglofemia...

Phylly, none of us could know that this poll would be anything but fun. It's a shame. I no longer care who wins or loses and hope that the actors will not know that this happened.
